guitarist/vox Ryan Dwork, drummer Grady Feldgus, bassist Justin Farrell are The Boroughs....marvelous power trio that combine elements of old school punk (namely Buzzcocks and related sounds) and melodic rock of their heroes in Television with a flair for humor. On the night I recorded this gig at Trash Bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, I had missed the first 2 songs of the set (for posterity, they were Trust Fund and Stupid Son). The remaining 8 songs were a mix of old and new songs plus a CCR cover. It was my first time seeing this admittedly guilty pleasure of a band whose music I had spun for a year and am I ever glad to have this song to share with all of you. Turn it up. www.theboroughs.net
