Special thanks to Alex P, Brian, Kristen, Jason, and Kevin Fedrerline for making sunday the only night to rock. The Boroughs on the air! Thats right everyone, your favorite band, The Boroughs will be on internet radio! Radio Enigma will be playing tracks from the Ostrich EP on the show Independent Nation. Air time is from 10:00PM - 1:00AM on Wednesdays and 5:00PM - 7:00PM on Sundays. Be sure to tune in and catch a few future number one hits.

The Boroughs wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.
While we are all looking foward to getting some rest, eating turkey, watching football, and drinking way too much beer, the Boroughs are hard at work in the studio, and at rehearsal.
Our 13 song rock opera is moving along nicely, and we will be doing vocals right after the holiday.
We have one big show to announce:
The band will be playing Sunday December 10th at sin-e. 9PM set time. Sin-e is located at 150 Attorney street at stanton on the lower east side.
Sunday may not be the best night of the week to rock, but we ask that everybody in the Borough army come out and support us as we prove to another NYC club why the Boroughs have the most dedicated fans in the city!

Another successful M.E.A.N.Y.Fest for The Boroughs! Thats right folks, the Lit Lounge was bumping on Friday night as The Boroughs plowed through a highly energetic set. We returned from from our studio hibernation to give the crowd what they wanted! If you missed the show, our set went a little something like this:

Long time, no updates. I know. Sorry. The truth is, we've been very busy these last few weeks. We've finished recording all the drums for the new record as well as a lot of the bass. We're now working on guitars and other instrumentation before we get into vocals, editing, mixing and all that good stuff.
Also, dont forget, we'll be playing Friday night at the Lit Lounge. You can see all the info here . So come out and see The Boroughs before it starts snowing again and you have to bring out the plow to get to a gig!

After a long, productive weekend, The Boroughs are taking some much needed rest this week. The boys spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the studio recording for the upcoming full length album. The basic foundations for 10 of the 12 songs were put down this weekend and there will be one more studio day for basic tracks before we move onto guitars and vocals. Thats about it for now, we'll be back playing M.E.A.N.Y. Fest again in September, so check back for updates on that as well as for the progress of the recording!

We've all been a little sick here at The Boroughs camp. We've all had fevers, and the only prescription for it was, well...MORE COWBELL!
For those of you not at The Hook on Friday night, you missed quite a night of fun. The Boroughs ripped through an energetic set that was closed out with a once in a lifetime performance of "Yo Jimbo!" with Kurtdawwg on the Cowbell!! Otherwise, our set was:
