Were you at the Acme Underground last night? If not, then you better make sure to get to the Luna Lounge on January 11th!. The Boroughs put on a rockin show last night along with free demo's as your holiday present. The boys setlist was:

The history page has been updated today, adding Justin's personal bio. Pictures are soon to follow, as well as pictures of the new full band together. Rehearsals are in full effect as we speak and the band will be ready to rock on December 17th as the band performs for the last time in 2003 before bringing it on full force in the new year!

Ladies and Gentleman, and children of all ages, THE BOROUGHS ARE BACK! The Boroughs jammed with a few people here and there but really needed to look no further than their own friend and web site designer, Justin Farrell! That's right everyone, Justin has joined the lineup to make The Boroughs stronger than ever. Rehearsals are going on as we speak, and three, that's right THREE! gigs have already been set up and announced for the boys. They will make their triumphant return the Acme Underground on December 17th, 2003, which also happens to be new addition Justin's birthday. Also, they will be playing the Luna Lounge on January 11th and The Continental on January 26th. Check the tour dates section for all the details. Well, thats it boroughs fans, we'd like to welcome Justin aboard and we'll see you real soon!

Hey all you Borough fans! As you may already know, James Haefner has decided to leave the band. Although the group is sad to see him go, they wish him all the best. Ryan and Grady are currently auditioning new members and should have the new lineup set by the end of the month. We regret that many of our gigs had to be postponed but stay with us as we will be back stronger than ever.

Well, I hope you were at the Acme Undergounrd last night, because if you werent, you missed an INCREDIBLE show. The boys belted out a strong and powerful 40 minute set that got a massive applause and positive response from the crowd. If you missed it, the boys will be in Boston real soon and look for more NYC gigs to be coming shortly. Pictures from the show will be added soon as well. Also, sound clips from the boroughs 3 song demo titled "Disposable Income" will be available up on the site soon.

The Boroughs demo's have finally arrived everybody! Want to know how to get your grubby little hands on one? Well, if you're coming down to the show at the Acme Underground on Monday night, you'll be able to get it there, otherwise, you're gonna have to wait until we get it up into the store section. However, you will be able to get it one way or another.

In case you havent noticed, we've upgraded the site, so now there will be NO more pop-ups or advertisements anywhere on this site. Thanks for dealing with it for the short while it was up. We've also expanded the bandwidth, so you wont have any more problems logging on. More Boroughs news will be brought to you soon.

Last night the Boroughs played an impromptu gig at the hip NYC lesbian bar "The Meow Mix." The band was happy with the gig and want to thank everybody who came out and supported The Boroughs at this last minute show. The boys played a rockin 45 minute set with several other bands on the "Mother's Day Rocks" bill. The band would also like to send a big shout out to our new friends "The Past", these guys are a great band from Queens.

EXTRA! EXTRA! THE BOROUGHS TO PLAY ACME UNDERGROUND! That's right, you heard it Boroughs fans, the trio will be playing at the Acme Underground on June 16th, 2003 at 10:00 PM. This is a very important gig for the band as it marks the first time the band will be performing at the Acme Underground. If you are interested in coming to the show, check out the tour dates section for details and directions. Also, we changed our guestbook, so if you dont see your entry in there, please sign in again so you can be updated on future Boroughs shows and releases.

They came, they saw, they rocked! The Boys recorded their long awaited first demo at Astoria Soundworks last saturday with great results. The recording process went as well as could be and the band couldn't be happier with the result. The Boroughs would like to give a big shout out and thanks to Savvas Karamalis and Tim Moes for all of their amazing support and great work on this record. The band is currently working on CD duplication and should have the record ready for distribution in a couple of weeks. In addition to making the demo, the band will be playing a good old fashion house party on June 21 in Dutchess County NY. Details to this gig will be coming soon. Also, one of the Boroughs favorite bands from Boston, MA, "The Modeles" have invited the band to play with them at a pub near Boston University called"Great Scotts" on June 27th, 2003. This will be the first time the band will play Boston. Details on direction and the clubs address will be forthcoming. Thats all for now.

Howdy, Boroughs fans! Sorry its taken us so long to update the site, but check in periodically over the next week or two because a lot is about to happen. On Saturday, May 3rd, The Boroughs will be recording their ground-breaking, ear-shattering, melodic, orgasmic, 3 song demo. The demo will feature "Missed Out", "Setting Sun" and "Disposable Income". As soon as the CD is ready, we'll let you guys know how you can get a hold of it and when we'll be playing out. That's all for now and keep on rocking in the free world.
